Interference Band-pass Filter

Interference bandpass filter will allow light in a narrow bandwidth to pass through whilst reflecting light in any other wavelengths. We have an extensive stock range of high quality filters available in wavelengths from 254nm to 2000nm in various bandwidths from the 3nm FIN type to the 65nm FIW type. We can also produce custom filters to your bandwidth and central wavelength requirements – our prices are extremely competitive but please note that custom pieces can be expensive.
To ensure long term stability, our interference filter are individually CNC scribed and hermetically sealed into a stack to avoid moisture leakage that can occur with lower quality filters from other manufacturers (please see the technical notes below for more). The standard range of stock interference bandpass filters are supplied mounted but it is no trouble to provide un-mounted pieces with aerospace painted edges upon request.
All our interference bandpass filter are typically 3 to 7 cavity types and most of the blocking is with metal-dielectric from UV (200nm) to FIR (3000+nm) at OD4. Please note that any light that is not passed is reflected, thus consideration must be given as to where this light will land. Also, performance is dependent on the angle of incidence with the characteristic moving to shorter wavelengths as the angle of incidence is increased.
Options Available: 12.7mmdia (8.7mm aperture), 25.4mmdia (21.4mm aperture) and 50.8mmdia (46.8mm aperture) are available at short notice normally within 1-2 weeks.
